Best generator ever

I bought this generator and when I started it’s was so easy to star , connect and build the parts that it need to be build, works perfectly and no soo much noise it’s works great with gas and gasoline ⛽️ live it I recommend this generator for Texas energy problem

Transfer switch house hookup via NEMA L14-30 cord

Important info for first-time buyers of portable generators.
We couldn't feed power into the house from the NEMA L14-30R outlet because I started it in 120v mode. But the outlet is only energized in the 240v position!
1. That outlet provides max 3600W for 120V and max 5300W for 240V at 30A.

When setting the voltage to 120v, only the two other outlets are energized with 120v each:
2. The RV compatible outlet (TT-30R) provides max 3600 Watt at 30 Ampere
3. The two household outlets (5-20R) provide max 2400 Watt at 20 Ampere

I strongly recommend Westinghouse to include this information clearly in the product's manual and operating instructions.

Dual Fuel is the way to go

Why spend all the money on a Honda or Yamaha generator when you get more bang for your buck with this Westinghouse. You can't beat the price for the features you get. You get dual fuel (in case the gas isn't going to be arriving on time). Propane is always available during storms. Get an extra one. Started up the first pull on gas. Will test with propane tomorrow. Great features at a great value. Glad I found Westinghouse.

Won't start

The first time I tried starting the generator, it just wouldn't start. I assumed I floded it with the choke. I tired later and it backfired. I bought some starter fluid and tried again a couple weeks later, and still no luck. I'm not sure if it's a bad plug or coil. I'm going to contact Westinghouse support to see if they have reccommendations.

Couldn’t Ask For Anything Better

Bought as part of my birthday gifts. Quality finish. Quality features. Will run essential appliances to keep my family safe and comfortable next power outage. Due to my schedule, I have not started any break-in, but from the exhaustive research I’ve done and networking with other generator owners, and of course the price of this precision machine, I couldn’t be happier! I look forward to a solid relationship with Westinghouse.

Worked Great for 1 Day!

Bought this generator to replace a unit I have had for over a decade, followed instructions, Five hour break in period, everything worked fine. next day, half the electric went out and machine was running rough. Going to need to contact customer service. Will follow up( if possible) after machine is repaired/ replaced..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
