We bought this generator to help in case of power outages during storms, and as a backup power source for our RV. It was really simple to put into operation, and started right up in both gas and propane. The included toolkit kept me from digging through my toolbox, and it even includes a funnel to help pour the oil. Literally everything you need to start except the actual fuel. Haven’t used on our RV yet, but tested it on our household power items (heater, fridge, etc…) and it works great. Not as quiet as an inverter generator, but no louder than a lawnmower.

dual fuel generator

Piped into my propane line and connected electric cable, and it started right up with just a few pulls. After that 1 pull to start if you choke it first. If engine warm starts with 1 pull. Runs quiet, and stable. Used only 2 hrs during snow storm while power was out. Happy at this point. Time will tell with all the low quality junk on the market now days you have to wait and see. It seems to be solid.

I bought this generator in anticipation of a blizzard heading our way. I installed a transfer switch in my panel, unboxed the generator and followed the instructions, started her up and now we have heat, water, and lights! It's comforting to know that we have the option. Also happy that it is dual fuel. Great price and it worked great.

The WGen5300DFV was easy to put together, compact and perfect for a back-up emergency generator for power outages. Great product for the price.

This generator was a 40th birthday gift and it was the best gift ever! My favorite feature is the propane/liquid fuel combination. I also love the maintenance reminders on the machine itself!
