My new WGen5300DFV generator

I finally broke down and got my first generator! Last hurricane in Florida left us without power for a week! I spent 5 1/2 hours breaking it in hooked up to our travel trailer! Very easy to set it up with two feet and wheels! Great gauge which stayed at 120 volts! It was easy to add the oil and I ran it with LP GAS TANK! Absolutely a great unit! well made!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ample power for emergencies, very portable.

Although I haven't had any emergencies (yet) I feel secure that I shall have electric power for heat, lights and refrigerators in the event of power grid failures. My one regret is that I should have gotten the 7,000 watts or even the 9,000 watts unit. However, this one seems efficient and economical to run. Oh yeah, it's dual fuel to boot. Great for me in a rural environment.

I haven't had a chance to test this out yet, so I hope it performs as well as previous reviews indicate. According to my brief research I think it is the best buy for quality, dual fuel capabilities and wattage capabilities.

Great generator

Bad storms came through and left large areas without power. After day two couldn’t take the heat and humidity anymore. Purchased this item and was able save perishable foods from going bad and run a few lights and fans to keep air circulating to keep family cool in triple digit temperatures. Under a medium load, had to refuel about 12-14 hours. It worked well for everything we needed in a time of need. My only regret is I should have bought one a lot sooner.

Got it in. Easy to get set up. Started on first pull. Very happy with purchase. We got it in case of a power outages. I have a handicap mother who has a electric wheelchair that we always need to keep it charged.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
