Westinghouse 5300 in a pinch

We bought this generator in case we went through another winter where we lose power for an extended time. We busted it open an hour into no power and in about 30min we had heat again! Easy to assemble and then use. Cranked up after three strokes. Highly recommend.

Excellent product for the price

I bought this generator to upgrade my champion 3500 dual fuel generator on my trailer. I could not run my both of my AC units with my champion but this Westinghouse was perfect for the job. I have a 2019 Cherokee 294rr bumper tow toy hauler with a generator rack over the nose and Westinghouse droped right in place and hooked up to everything I had purchased separately for my champion generator. To my surprise when I set the Westinghouse WGen5300DFv generator it came with a LP adapter hose and a nicely packed service tool kit. This generator was the perfect upgrade and very pleased with the quality/durability

GREAT FOR EMERGENCIES!

been debating whether or not to buy a generator after years of annual failures by the city of Austin, this year was the last straw. Went down and picked this up, tossed it in the back seat of my car and never looked back. Quick and easy assembly to put the wheels on, fill it up with oil (all with the tools and oil supplied in box). Carefully read the instructions and filled it up with 4.7 gallons of gas, and it fired right up on the first pull. Ran mine and my neighbor's refrigerators flawlessly for almost 6 hours, and we finally got our power back on the grid after 40+ hours during the freeze. I was able to run my wifi and laptop as well, and a small space heater it was great having power to spare!

Back up generator

Bought this unit to supply power in a horse trailer living quarters and as a back up for grid failures. Not the biggest unit but can be handled by wife and dual fuel is a plus. Had some initial regulator issues but techs were great and got the parts ordered ASAP. Quieter than anticipated and fingers crossed for durability.
