I bought this to power my home and it’s surprisingly does a great job. I also like the warranty and how quiet it runs. I would recommend this to anyone looking to power your home RV or campsite.

Running like a champ

We had a power outage for 8hours. 8hours! The operation instructions were straightforward and made a stressful situation manageable. Westinghouse made it easy to get started by including everything in the box. We only needed the fuel source and voila. We had power. We didn’t run a full load; we powered the modem for internet and about four electronic devices. The generator performed efficiently and powerfully for hours on end. It’s portable so it was easy to place exactly where we needed to run the power cord. Thanks W for making our inconvenience, “comfortable” with your outstanding performance 5300/4800 generator. We’re confident this portable

Good Looking, just won’t start

I bought this back in September and got it all put together pretty easily got the oil it and just needed to put gas in it and run it. A month and a half later after purchasing it I finally get some gas and put it in and now it will not start. Nice looking machine just disappointed that it would not start.

Got a defective generator

I did a lot of research before purchasing the generator, and I purchased a Westinghouse generator because of all the great reviews. The assembly was easy, the instructions were ok, the generator turned on fine. However, the meter did not turn on and when I plug the generator with my home, it did not generate any power. I called customer support, and I was told a technician would call me back but it may not happen before 2 weeks as they are busy to support other customers due to a hurricane in east coast. Now I have to drive 23 miles, 40 mins to take it to a service center.
