I have assembled and prepped, but have not used yet. Mostly assembled but did assemble stand feet and wheels, as well as add oil. Parts were very sturdy and easy to assemble. I used synthetic oil (5w-30) that instructions recommend, instead of what came with it. All-in-all, seems very well-built and sturdy. I'll update after use.

I purchased the Westington house WGEN5300DFV I portable generator last week. Use the generator today for the first time. Generator worked Great and served its purpose. I would recommend this product to friends and family.

Just unboxed our new 5300DFv and am pleased so far. It was packaged well and included tools for mounting the rubber feet as well as a funnel for easy filling of the oil, very nice. Only reason for 4stars for me is I think it should include some sort of grounding wire. A grounding rod would be nice but that is asking a bit much. A grounding wire is a realistic and necessary request or expectation. Maybe I will come back and update after I run it a bit.

Great generator

After doing a lot of research on generators I decided on this one. I was needing one for backup power in case of storms or severe weather. With two young children at home, I needed something reliable and this does the job.
