Great In An Emergency

I bought this due to the usual power outages in the L.A. during our heatwaves. It's meant to power the refrigerator, portable AC, and some lights.
I especially like that it's a dual fuel use and the featured connectors. It too comes equipped with wheels and pull handle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Feel very confident having this generator if the power goes out. Would recommend to anyone looking to make sure they are not without electricity when the grid goes down.

We have been losing power alot lately keeps our freezers and fridge going. We have a shop no power able to take care of everything inside. Camping it's awesome. Job sites with no power awesome. With times the way they are buy one now before your sorry.

Backup generator

I received the generator from UPS the outside of the package did not have any out of the ordinary damage. However, when I opened the package up I found that there was damage on the area that you pull the string to start the motor. I contacted customer support and they mailed me a new recoil and guard.
I’ll pause to say that the level of support that I received from westing house customer service agent (once they called me back) was fantastic.
The agent told me that it was very simple to install. And he told me that there would be directions in the box. Once I received the replacement part (there were no directions. And while it was pretty straight forward to do I know that my wife or mom could not have replaced the part. The replacement part had to be bent a little bit to fit correctly
Once complete there generator powered up great. I ran it a while to break it in and hooked it up to the house and it ran all the necessary components.
Only time will tell how the generator holds up. This will be used periodically to provide power in case of a power outage … and will also be used occasionally for my travel trailer.

My reason for the 3 star review is because there was damage but the shipping box was not damaged at all. This tells me that the damaged occurred prior to shipping. The quality department should not have let that go out the door.

Bought this back in June for hurricane season. Living in Florida you have to be prepared. So far so good, would recommend.

Great Generator!

I bought this generator less than a month ago and was very pleased with the purchase. The 4800 Watt on propane has fulfilled my needs perfectly in my RV. My only complaints are that the manual says that 240 V us available at the 4 prong twist lock only but when I tried it I had the 120V standard connector to my RV plugged in and 240 V was sent thru that connector too! This blew out various motors in my RV (evaporative water pump, fan, microwave) as well as the inverter I had hooked to my solar battery. The statement in the manual is incorrect and was very costly to me.
