Exactly What I Needed

I bought this when calling for winter weather (snow, ice, power outages) and it worked great. I wanted a generator that could use more than just gas and this one is dual fuel and is easy to change from one fuel type to the next. It is heavy so the wheels are very useful. This generator is also quiet but can power multiple items at a time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It generates electricity!

Assembly was as the directions stated. Adding oil was a bit cumbersome (the provided funnel is not quite long enough) - my only complaint. I have had to use generator already due to recent high wind events causing multiple day power outages. The generator works as stated; the 240V feature enabled us to use our electric oven. It has sufficient power capability to power any of our home's electrical demands (in segments, not all at once). Have only run on propane so far - started easily every time.

The 5300 Dual Fuel generator is very user friendly with all controls being very easily identified as to what their function is, and operating instructions are very visible on the generator itself and easy to understand. The wheels are sturdy and of sufficient size to make moving the generator quite easy, and the folding handles allow the generator to occupy less storage space. I chose this generator with a pull-type starter so that I would not have to be concerned about keeping a battery charged on a generator with electric start. I follow the starting instructions and the generator has consistently started on the third pull, even when starting cold. I am pleased with my purchase.
