I ordered this generator from Sam’s Club in preparation for winter in Texas. 2021’s winter storm hit us pretty bad with no electricity or water for nearly a week. Not in 2022! This unit was a great price, includes a wheel kit, and was delivered quickly.
I was a bit disappointed the main frame came out of the box with chipped black paint and rust, but this cosmetic issue can be easily fixed with flat black spray paint.
I had a transfer switch installed on my main home breaker with a lockout for safety. I plan to run a 20ft power cord to this switch with the generator on in case of a power outage. Of course theis generator isn’t rated to run everything in my home, but basic heating, lights, and refrigerator is all we need to ensure my family’s piece of mind.

For the price this is a good generator! The 240 volts part is great to have as on rare occasions I need that. Not the loudest or the quietest but about the middle.
The dual fuel is a great thing to have! Was able to plumb it to a 40 and 100lbs tank.c9mes in very handy when away from conventional power!

easiet generator to operate

i bought this generator because my son in law recommended it because it would run on propane and i would not have to keep a can of gasoline sitting around for it. i can just take the cylinder from my gas grill and put in on the generator to start it up. really this takes two pulls and it starts up. how can you get better than this?

This generator is really quiet compared to others. The propane connection really is convenient and runs great. For the price you cant beat this one. Very satisfied.
