I bought the generator after we had the winter storm in Austin Tx. We were without power, heat and water for over 6 days. I searched for a quality generator at an affordable price and everything kept steering me back to the Westinghouse. Very pleased with my purchase.

Best Value Portable Generator With 240V Output

I did extensive research before purchasing the WGen5300DFv. I was looking for a dual fuel capable generator with 240V output and enough amps to power a furnace, sump pump, refrigerator, and basic lighting in the event of a power outage. This generator checked every box and at an excellent price point. The WGen was easy to assemble, came with everything needed for hookup to my propane tank, and started up without any issues. Although I was only able to run it for an hour for the break in period, I checked the output with my multimeter to confirm 240V and I don't foresee any issues the next time I have to start it up again. Everything seems to be well designed and built.

It started up after 2 tries! We got it because it can use Propane. It's easy to roll on the wheels. It works great!
