Westinghouse Generator 5300

I finally had an opportunity to use our 5300 for an extended amount of time and I was very pleased with how it stood up. We were using it with a blow up for a grandchild’s birthday party and it did the trick. The other thing that is awesome about this model is that you can use it with gas AND propane.

Extremely nice unit. Very clean very well put together, and the instruction manual is extraordinary. There's not much that can go wrong that it doesn't show you how to fix. I can't think of anything I would add except maybe a carbon monoxide detector.

Only ran it for the initial hour break in period. All outs worked and both fuels sources did, also. This being the first generator I've owed, did not realize the how loud it was. Muffed sound in den which I can live with.

Great for camping

I like this dual fuel generator. It starts using a couple of pulls and runs well. It can easily support my RV air conditioner. It is somewhat heavy.
