Perfect for Upcoming Winter

Purchased the WGen5300DFv to have available in case winter storms get bad this year. This model has everything we needed out of the box - including an oil funnel, which is a great feature I'm pleased to see added, and the LP hose and regulator. Very difficult to find this feature set in a dual fuel model at such a great price point. I plan to use the unit with extension cords, but with the L14-30 outlet you can easily connect directly to your home panel, which we might do in the future. Load testing went great and the generator didn't skip a beat. You need to be prepared for the noise - open frame traditional generators are not known for being quiet, but that should come with the territory if you're buying a generator, so this was not unexpected. So far maintenance has been pretty easy as far as the first oil change, although I recommend making a custom funnel to direct the oil out of the drain plug to ease cleanup. I'm satisfied with the features and power of the unit, and if we need it for an emergency, I'm convinced it will perform as expected without issue.

excellent generator

Used it after a storm had come through the city i live in it worked great kept my fridge running an groceries good for the meantime that power was out.

Runs Great and Quite

Only purchased yesterday, easy to assemble, heavier than expected, easy to move with the wheels. Runs great, started first pull, ran 15 minutes on half a quart of gas.

Here’s hoping

I bought this because I have moved to the Midwest. I am now experiencing what it’s like being subject to the power of nature. I can’t get this to run at all other than wide open choke. But I have hope that it can run and produce electricity even still

Wonderful generator

This generator has all the features I needed as a backup power for outages. When used with propane it takes a times to start the generator. Sound level is a little high from inside the house. The output power is good and stable. It's easy to roll out using the handle and wheels. You will need to prop up the generator to attach the wheels and fixed stand.
I would recommend this to a friend!
