Just got the Westinghouse 5300dfv and it appears to be a good buy. Sturdy and appears well built. The subtle features like the rubber outlet covers and padded handle are great and make the unit seem a bit of an upgrade from standard generators.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You can't get more for the money. There may be cheaper generators out there, but they are "cheap". Great quality.

Easy Pull Start

Purchased, put oil and fuel in unit, pulled the handle a couple times and it started right away. Power was available for outside power tools. Wheels and handle included with unit making it easy to move around.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So Far So Good`

I just bought this a week ago and haven't had an emergency yet. I have performed the 1 hour non load maintenance and started the 5 hour 50% load run. No problems at all. I am looking forward to having it ready to go on propane without worrying about the fuel going bad. The unit did come with a dented generator cover due to shipping, but everything works fine. My only complaint is there is no part number in the manual or on the filter for the air filter. I like to keep this things on hand.
