Great for 30amp RV

This generator ran all my electrical needs at one time pulling 3000watts like it was nothing. I hooked up my autotransformer Guard Dog surge protector it detected no faults and I was able to see the load in watts and amps put on the generator every time we added an appliance to the electrical load. For the price you get a three year warranty from the manufacture. I love the dual fuel option I only use propane it keeps the generator lighter and I don't have to worry about draining the fuel from the carburetor. The only thing I can complain about is it's not a quiet generator but I knew that when I bought it. It is a Great Value we placed the generator on the back driver side corner. We could sit out front under the awning and have normal conversation without raising our voices but you can hear the droning on of the generator in the background. Plus now we have a generator at the house for power outages so far I would recommend the Wgen5300DFv for an RV and a back up power plan in a power outage! (I hope to post an update after about 6 months or a year of usage)

Excellent value. Great instructions. Went together easy (feet and wheels). Includes a screw-in funnel for adding the 10-30 oil (which is included). Started right up on propane. Ran the one-hour burn-in problem free. Will work perfectly in 240 volt mode (120 volts on L-1 and L-2) for our RV. Only negative is that the oil drain is located right over the frame, so to prevent a mess we will need to rig up some kind of "flume" (if you will) to direct used oil to a suitable container.

Needed a generator for back-up emergency power at home and for construction jobs with no power source. Duel fuel and power output was a requirement. The over all price point, size and features sold me on this unit.
