This is just what we were Looking for. Love that I can use propane instead of gas. Love the wheels and handle. It is very easy to pull around. Great product.

Best Generator I ever owned

I am so happy with this Generator. The best feature is the duel fuel, Gasoline or Propane.
This Generator running on propane ran two (2) refrigerators, one (1) freezer, TV, Internet cell phone chargers, computer, and some lights for almost two weeks during a major wind storm and power lines down. I highly the generator.

Awesome little generator

I purchased this Westinghouse WGen5300DFcv generator after our power was out for four days due to a wind storm. I opted for an interlock setup over a transfer switch. Knowing this 5300 watt generator will not be able to power the entire house as with normal grid power, I turn off the circuit breakers which carry a high load. The only high-load breaker that remains on is the kitchen range and we only use one burner at a time. Works great in an emergency. I installed a slow start on my A/C unit and the air conditioner runs perfectly on this WGen5300DFcv generator. What really impressed me through my trial runs with this generator were the low engine RPM, how quiet it is, and how little fuel it uses. Speaking of fuel, I highly recommend running the engine on gasoline and switch over to propane while it is running. Just turn off the fuel shutoff and select propane. It is very difficult to start straight off propane. I’m very happy with my backup generator setup and highly recommend this generator.

Will not run Sensitive

I bought 2 of these (1 for my office and 1 for my house) They worked great on propane and better on Gas. They do have DIRTY power HZ was fluctuating from 58 - 62. Would not run my ups for my computers. Caution the box clearly said they would power computers and TV. There Tech support told me they should not be used for sensitive electronics. They need to FIX the boxes!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
