Easy to put together and start

The Westinghouse WGen5300DFcv is easy to put together with a great owner’s manual and instructions. It started right up in 37°F/3°C weather after I put it together. It ran on gas and Propane without a problem when I was checking it after I put it together.

WGEN5300DF Dual Fuel Generator

Acquired for hopefully occasional use during storms that affect traditional power. Needed to provide power to deep water well pump and equipment generally found in garage including refrigerator and freezer.
Started right up using propane. Appears solid. Not totally impressed with the plastic choke lever. Adding oil is messy and ultimately results in a overfill.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use

My first time using a generator. Frankly, I thought it would be troublesome and it’s not. I do have to say, it was a bit heavy to move, But once I installed the wheels it was easy to move around. The instructions are very simple to follow. Once the oils and fuel was added. Only a few pulls if the recoil is what it took to get the generator going. It truly saved the day. I was going on 8 hours without power and the refrigerator wasn’t going to hold much longer. I am very happy I have the generator

Generator is easy assembly. All parts were included to put wheels and feet together. Easy to start generator. Generator was not excessively load when in use.
