I bought this generator because we were having a scheduled power outage from Consumers and it went longer than it was supposed to approximately eighth hours and this product worked great right out of the box had no problem

Westinghouse 5300DFcv Dual Fuel Generator

This dual fuel generator meets my needs. It runs on propane so it requires less maintenance that gas generators. It is compact. It's light (136 lbs) enough for me to manage on my own. It provides enough 240 volt power to run our important circuits during and outage. Its ready to hook up directly to a 30 Amp/240 volt transfer switch.

The Diversity of a Westinghouse Generator

I was very excited to obtain this product that provided the option of a dual fuel use. Consequently, this product provides the same power regardless of the type of fuel usage of Gas or Propane. The only difference in some of the other brands, is some of the other brands provide a cord that can reduce the voltage with a connection to multiple 110 /120 outlet connections.
