I purchased this a couple years ago for emergencies and have just recently used it for the first time. I love the dual fuel option for this generator and its relatively small and easy to set up and use.

Chose the WGen5300DFcv to replace my very unreliable Firman generator. I put way too much time and money trying to repair the Firman that had less than 10 hours of run time. After reading several reviews and articles, I went with the Westinghouse brand. I needed something I can rely on since we live in Hurricane alley. The WGen has been exactly what I need—reliable and easy to use. The dual fuel system is a plus. Don’t worry about spending the extra money for electric start. It starts easily on the second or third pull. Once started, maintains steady rpm no matter the load. Definitely recommend.
