Westinghouse Open Frame Dual Fuel Generator

I bought model # WGen5300DFcv, it's got 6500 watts peak power and 5300 watts running, runs on gasoline or propane. We bought it because we are in Western North Carolina near Asheville, and Hurricane Helene knocked out our power for 15 days. And this Westinghouse generator ran like a champ for 12 hours on a single tank of gas for the duration of this power outage. Performing post use/storage maintenance was easy. Nothing but praise for this open frame generator.

I bought this a few years ago for emergency. Used it when power went out due to power poles down and rand my refrigerator to keep from losing food. Simple to use and sturdy.

This is the first generator I’ve ever owned and it has exceeded expectations. Help us get through almost a week without power. I prefer using it with just the propane option as it’s easy to store and clean.

i bought this after hurricane Helene came through. the duel fuel was was a needed option. the pull start was easy and worked on the first pull. the directions was easy to navigate. it was a great buyfo me
