I bought this generator after Hurricane Helen swept through my local Sam’s Club. For a novice, it was easy to function, maintain and it AMAZINGLY provided electricity for the house up to 12 hours per gas refill!!!! I am very grateful for this much needed resource!!!

I bought this generator as a replacement for my older Generac model because I wanted something than ran longer. It has proven to be more than I asked for and the price was great. It has all the options and convenient features I need.

Stumbled upon these generators in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Plenty of power for basic needs. The dual power option is really sweet. Don't have to worry about the propane deteriorating like stored gasoline.

This generator was purchased during the power outage caused by hurricane Helene and has been absolutely *CRUCIAL* for keeping our lives stable. It provides excellent power for the price, and can easily maintain a separate fridge and freezer at the same time as powering several home lights and small appliances, like a CPAP machine. Changing the oil could be improved if the drain plug was positioned better, but it is otherwise easy to do. Just make sure your pan is short (height-wise) and long enough to catch the oil as it falls and spreads along the frame below it. It only holds .74 quarts of oil (provided at purchase and about 24 oz) and needs to be changed after the first 25 hours of use. After that it needs to be changed every 50 hours. The generator will run for approximately 13-14 hours on a full tank of 4.7 gallons of gas. If you prefer, it can use propane as a fuel source, but we have not used it with propane.
Overall highly recommend this product.

Flexible for many Situations

Purchased this Westinghouse generator as I live in Florida and need an alternate power source. I like the flexibility, having dual fuel sources, i.e. gasoline and propane, as well as its power to meet my needs. Westinghouse is a great name for great products.

We bought this after Hurricane Helene barreled through our little town leaving destruction behind. Generators were hard to come by and we found this one out of town. It powered our freezer, fridge, lamps and other small appliances that we needed to get by until power was restored a week later.
