Great Dual Fuel Generator

So glad I got this generator. After hurricane Beryl went through Katy Tx, We were without power for 5 days. Our local shell station ran out of gas, so i used my 2 propane tanks which powered my house for a day and a half until we got to fill up our gas tanks!.

You won't regret buying a Westinghouse generator

This is my third Westinghouse generator. The other two are still going strong after many years of use and I like the new features on this one. No need to go with a "H' or "G" brands, Westinghouse generators are a better value and I've found them to be reliable.

Features and power I needed

After the last power outage I looked for a power source That could be used to power multiple circuits. The WGen5300DFcv was a good match. It has enough power and is duel fuel and is portable. After assembly which was quite easy, I started it up to see how it would work and it preformed as advertised. Now I have the power I need ready for the next outage.

Perfect size

I purchased this generator to power items in my home in the event of a power outage. I like that it can be run on propane or gasoline. It is a good size for me to handle, and the power rating should easily run the essentials in an emergency.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Reliability

I bought this unit some time ago and just recently got it up and running. The one thing that continues to impress me about this generator is just how reliable it is. Of course it's made by Westinghouse so I was assuming it was going to be as dependable as all of its other appliances. So far I have NOT been disappointed in its performance.
