I bought the generator for this hurricane season. I haven't used it but I feel safer this season because I know I'll have electricity on blackout days.

Good Value / Easy Set Up

I purchased this generator to ensure critical appliances (refrigerator and fans) could be used during a power outage ... This was an easy product to set up and I particularly like the many YouTube videos that describe how to use it efficiently ... Another plus is the fact that it's easy to haul and position in a safe location.

Awesome generator

We use the Westinghouse 5300dfv when we boondock at the lake or at a place where there is no power hookups. Works great to charge batteries and run the ac when needed. Also it is a great price point for what it is. It's not quiet but it's also not that loud from 25 feet away.

Easy setup

We purchased this generator to upgrade to a larger generator than our current 3.5KW before hurricane season peaked. It was very easy to setup out of the box and cranked on the second pull. We haven't had the need to run it for any extended time yet but confident it will do a good job

Both this two weeks ago. Very happy. Very easy to operate. Especially like that is also propane powered. I will stick with propane for now
