Very well made, replacing older Homelight Generator that weighed a ton. Half the weight of my old generator. Love the duel fuel option.

I bought this unit to replace my old generator that would not start. I figured with the Westinghouse name and with the great reviews this was the best choice. The weight of the generator is easy to roll around and with the hurricane season about to start I needed a generator in case of emergencies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great generator

Used our Westinghouse 5300 for the first time after we lost power with hurricane Beryl. We opted to use the propane since we had several full tanks. Easy setup and startup. Very satisfied. It ran like a champ and powered our freezer and a couple fans in the house with no issues at all. One can of propane lasted about 10 hours.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Durable and portable

Bought this generator to help my family through a hurricane and frequent outages. I can say that I'm surprised at how long it works. I usually put 5 gallons of natural gas at a time. Within a 24 hour period I have my refrigerator working and making ice, one or two fans at a time and able to charge my home devices. Ive plugged in my toaster and microwave as well. It is pretty loud on the other hand, but that was expected. I like that it comes with wheels and a handle bar to help maneuver the generator.
