I bought this generator because of its high reviews and the reviews are accurate. It has lots of power and it is quieter than most generators of this size.

This generator replaced one that was half this size and had so many handy and different features. It started right out of the box. All I had to do was put on the footpads and wheels. It came with oil and a funnel. I like the fact that it runs on propane as well. It`s just what I needed!

Great User Manual

This was the first time I owned and operated a portable generator. The accompanying user manual has very clear instructions with accompanying photos and illustrations. The excellent documentation made it easy for me to assemble and operate my new generator during the break-in period with the confidence of an experienced generator owner. A four star rating has been assigned because the generator arrived with a dented alternator cover which likely occurred during shipping. The cover was able to be bent back into shape.

Easy Start

I had only ran the generator to break in the motor, and test the voltage output, so less than five hours of use. The break-in involved changing the oil after running for 30 minutes, 1-hour, 1-hour, and 3.5-hours under variable loads. It ran fine and provided power under a 3000 watt load. I used ethanol-free 91 octane and the generator easily starts up. This generator is our emergency home power through a transfer switch.

This is the first time for us to buy a generator. Due to recent frequent power off condition, we decided to buy a generator. It is small and easy to use. I like it to be a dual fuel generator: gasoline or propane. With two wheels, it is easy to move around . My husband said that it is even better if the motor oil tube position is put in the easier access. But overall, it is a good choice to have a backup power during emergency.
