Bought this 5300DF to replace an old Makita 3500. So pleased with my decision. more power, quieter and the dual fuel option is worth the extra $$

Boat load of features

This is the second Generater that I have bought in the last month. The brand was bigger. Started it up and it began to leak gas. Returned it and bought this one. The shipping company did a poor job getting to me. Was a little beat up. But after opening it up and putting it together I was impressed. It was easy to assemble and came with some nice extras, like the funnel that screws on to oil opening, small tool set to service it with. It seems to run well. I feel better having it in case of emergency.

Lots of power

It was easy to assemble. It starts easy. The battery charger wasn't in the bag. I don't like the starter button-the old hold down until started is better. I don't like the remote. If you shutdown with the remote and don't go turn the gas off, the gas may leak while it's turned off.

I bought this generator in October and put it together and fired it up. It runs great. The remote starter is a bonus. I bought this a dual purpose for home and camping. It works great for both. I would recommend this product for sure!
