Easy setup

The generator arrived quickly in great shape practically ready to use. Every thing I needed to get it up and running came with it (except gas of course) It came with the oil and a handy funnel that screwed on the oil filler hole which made for an easy no mess job of adding the oil. It also came with the propane regulator valve if you choose to use propane as your fuel source. I'm going to keep gas and propane on hand. The wheels and feet were an easy installation with the handy wrench included. I also liked the fact that I didn't have to bolt on the cables to the battery like some I've purchased before. The positive and negative cables had a push connect that made for a fast and simple installation. The instructions are easy to follow. After getting it setup and adding fuel it cranked right up using the included remote fob. it ran a little rough for about a minute but after that she ran smooth as silk. It should be great for what I'll need it for. I just need to keep a freeze, refrigerator, a few lights and a TV going during a power outage.

Damaged

Bought this item a little over a month ago after much deliberation. I liked the features and if it had arrived in undamaged condition I would have been much happier with the product. It came with a dented alternator cover, severely cracked air filter cover, a very noticeable bend in one of the frame bars and a bent choke mechanism. I started the return process but was told the soonest we might be able to get this model again was December. We have already lost power twice this year so we opted to keep it and try to get it running. After arriving in such a condition, I must give it credit for taking such a heavy hit and still operate at all. Remains to be seen for how long. Nice machine for the price if it came in pristine condition.

Haven't used it much yet, however I'm impressed w/ the workmanship and how easy it was to setup. Started right up and ran perfect. When a outage comes, and it will, I'm sure I will be very happy.
