We already had a Westinghouse gas generator and decided to add another generator to our bunkhouse. I was thrilled to get a dual fuel so we can run it on propane. Westinghouse generators are fantastic.

Nice product and well built

Bought the 9500 and the 5300 watt units. Both appear to be well built. He smaller unit came in with slight frame damage but not enough I want to deal with it.
Both units have a little trouble starting on LP. I’m at 3300’ so maybe altitude is the issue. Takes each 3 start attempts before running and usually get a backfire.
Haven’t tried gasoline yet.

Good features one of the few models WITHOUT wheels

Just purchased and unboxed. Spent a full day comparing features between Westinghouse models and did not realize this does not include wheels while all others do. It is clear in the pictures however when you spend a couple hours reading about them you focus too much on features and miss out on the obvious. Have not used it yet thankfully.

Easy Start

The electric start was the best thing that came along. Right out of the box read up on the generator, installed the wheels and handle added the oil and was ready to go. Found a couple loose nuts on the mounts tightened them up and was good to go. Connected the propane tank tightened everything up hit the remote button and the generator started on the 2nd attempt. After warming up for a couple minutes plugged in some lights and everything worked. The real test will be when we lose power again .

We purchased this product as a backup for our travel trailer. Works perfectly and as advertised. Light enough to move around, heavy enough to keep someone from walking away with it. Highly recommend.
