Perfect!

My father in law and me were looking for something reliable that could be used in an emergency or for just taking with us when we go camping. This was the PERFECT piece of equipment anyone could ask for! Remote start, push start, gas or LPG, there are so many good things on this bad boy. Easy to assemble out the box and started up on the first try. I would recommend it anyone hands down! Thank you.

A Lot of Bang for the Buck

This unit has a clean sharp look and delivers a lot of bang for the buck. Love the propane option that lets me quickly respond to short-term power outages (2-9 hours) …just connect a propane bottle and fire it up. I like not having to worry about treating, draining or wasting left over gasoline, but the gas option is nice for more economical operations during long term multi-day power outages.
This unit provides enough power to keep a 2000 square foot house in lights, plus run a few smaller appliances such as TV equipment, freezers, refrigerators, microwave and maybe a single burner on your electric cook stove. Not for operation of Central Heat & Air, large electric water heaters, dryers, ovens etc. Buy a bigger unit if you want to power those.
I like that it is not too large so I can move it in place with confidence. Also stores nicely in smaller spaces unlike the larger models. A nice surprise was that it wasn’t as loud as I was expecting.
Cons;
This unit should have come with the Digital Data Center that provides real-time updates on maintenance information as many other Westinghouse models do, especially at this price.
Shipping condition was unacceptable. As others have complained, my unit arrived and the box was in decent shape. But when I opened it, I found damage to the generator in three places. Two big dents on the frame and one on the control panel. I decided to keep it and work on the damage because these units have been hard to find. There should be an easy fix for this. Perhaps more packing material or better handling practice. For the life of me, I don’t understand why this is still a problem.

Was a little slow getting here but once here it got here was exactly as expected. Everything was in the box put the oil in hooked up battery started right up has started and ran great every time I have needed it.

Compact powerhouse

I purchased this at the start of this year as an emergency power source for my residential home. I was pleased to see the unit come back into stock and immediately made the purchase. Upon receiving the unit, I was able to assemble within 20 mins. and performed a test using my air compressor. The generator seemed to power the air compressor without too much trouble. I am looking forward to additional load testing. It is piece of mind having it here now.
