Comes with its own oil, and plastic screw on funnel. Easy wheels install, The little things are a great show of good qualities. Plastic covers over the outlets, good looking, easy instructions to follow. Fuel level, stickers around the generator showing you what to do, and what it is. Stickers of how to start the generator, so each start up is a reminder sticker.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I needed a quality generator for hurricane Sally and this one fit the bill perfectly. We had no issues with getting everything set up and started. It ran a fridge, freezer, multiple lights, and fans, and numerous other odds and ins without a hiccup. We were without power for 6 days and this was perfect. I would definitely buy this again. I plan to run a transfer switch in the house in the future to make things much easier. Great brand so far. Hope it lasts for many many years.

seems generally quiet im new to owning a generator. love the electric start and key fob . easy to switch between propane and gas highly recommend this unit . so ready for the power shut offs now

Just purchased, box packed in, look like it had rolled down the highway, however, when Fed X driver and myself opened there were not even a scratch on the generator. The only thing missing was the battery charger. Book and instructions simple.

This review is for model WGen5300DF. No damage to the generator upon receiving. This review is for model WGen5300DF. No damage to the generator upon receiving. All parts, instructions and user manual were accounted for. At first, I couldn’t find the remote starter fob and was ready to call Westinghouse for a replacement. One last look and I found it attached to the manual start handle. The maintenance and Quick start guide are simple to read and well laid out. I especially appreciated the listing for spark plug and battery after market part numbers along with the Westinghouse part numbers.
After completing the “before starting” instructions, I ran the generator on propane first and then on gas. The generator ran as expected and was much quieter than my 12-year-old Colman open frame generator.
I plan on using the generator with my home transfer switch during occasional power outages.

Exactly what I wanted in a Generator

I actually purchased 2 generators, same kind. I wanted dual fuel for emergency reasons and because propane burns clean with no risk of gumming up the fuel system when not in use. I bought one for our primary residence and one for our camp in Alabama. The way I see it, when you "need" a generator, it is too late. I prefer to plan ahead and be prepared. The electric start with key fob also can turn the unit off. This unit packs a punch with many bells and whistles.

Good feature set for the price... if it worked.

Out of the box, the generator was missing the instructions / Quick Start guide, so that was a bit confusing.
Once I read through the documentation online, I encountered two problems:
1) The generator's electric start was non-functional. This is a huge bummer because I had hoped to have this hooked up to my house's propane supply, and transfer switch, so I could start it with a few button presses from inside as opposed to having to go outside in the rain.
2) The AC power produced by the unit is INSANELY 'dirty'. I'm not surprised it isn't perfect, but I am a bit upset that my inverter-charger, which is very tolerant of things, seems to be unable to charge from this thing appropriately. :( Even plugging in a basic, plain old desk fan to this unit causes the desk fan to become noisy and groan weirdly.
