Last year hurricane Ian out of electricity almost 2 weeks, lost freezer goods, using candles flashlights, no fans really miserable. But not now this generator will make a difference if needed. Came boxed very good condition. Assembled wheels and front pads 15 minutes, added oil that came with it. Hooked up propane tank followed quick start reference guide and it fired right up. Hopefully I never need to use it but I’m now ready in case. A good feeling.

Dual fuel Wgen5300 with remote start

I recently purchased the Westinghouse dual fuel generator in May of 2023 and have been quite impressed so far with it. The fact that it can run on both gas and propane is a major advantage, providing flexibility and options depending on fuel availability. The remote start feature is a fantastic addition, making it convenient to start the generator from a distance.
Setting up the generator was a breeze, as it came with everything needed to get started. This attention to detail by Westinghouse is commendable, as it saves time and ensures a smooth setup process. It’s always frustrating when you have to hunt down additional components or accessories.
When I fired up the generator, it started without any issues. The reliable starting mechanism gives me confidence that it will consistently perform when needed. Whether it’s for powering appliances during a power outage or for outdoor activities, this generator seems reliable and capable.

So I actually bought two generators for my guest cottage and my own personal home. This one was for the Guest Cottage Tenant. So far so good. Excellent price for powering the basics.
