Great features and value

I bought this electric start, dual fuel generator just after hurricane Ian went through Florida and we had a hard time starting our exiting generator which is manual start. Since we are getting up in age (80s), my wife and I decided on an electric start replacement. The dual fuel feature gives us additional flexibility during storm conditions when gasoline supplies can be difficult. The only difficulty we've had was with the remote fob not functioning, that was quickly resolve by way of a Service Bulletin instructing me on how to "pair" the fob to the generator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice Dual Power Generator

We had a 5 day power outage and bought this on Day 3. Used the propane feature and it used a lot of propane at first. Once broken in, it powered us and our neighbors all night long.

I was looking for a home backup generator and the wgen5300dfc had the options i was looking for,floating neutral, dual fuel, remote start and electric start. i ordered the wheel kit separately and now i am able to plug directly into my house transfer switch. i ran it to put break in hours on it and am now ready if i get more power outages .

Worked as expected during our many blackouts. Great customer service when I had questions. I liked it so much, I bought another westinghouse generator for my RV.

I love the remote start feature

We lose power occasionally, this gives us peace of mind that we will always have our house heated in the winter. We have not used it yet
