I bought this a month ago and it has everything I expected and more. It’s quieter than I expected, transition between gas and propane, without an issue, starts easily, the directions on how to use a very clear and concise. When I attach it to my trailer, Seeing the amount of power that this was putting out was very beneficial. Even running my air conditioner it was only a 50% power and then included my refrigerator in freezer. I’m very pleased with this Westinghouse generator.

It seems quiet enough, on par with other inverter generators of the same type. I've only run it on propane (LPG) so far and only to get a good break-in completed. That involved six oil changes over 25 hours (one per hour for the first five hours with the sixth oil change at 25 hours). I did not exceed 1/2 load for the first hour and varied the load off/on every 10 minutes between oil changes. There is significant metal shavings removed from the engine with the oil changes for the first three or four oil changes. This is normal for small generators, the brand/models don't seem to make any difference. After five hours I varied from full load to no load off/on every 20 minutes or so. The break-in oil was conventional 10w-30. At 25 hours I changed it to synthetic 5w-30 as per the manual. The engine and inverter seem to be running smooth and quiet. It starts within a pull or two. The manual really needs to have a better break-in process directed. That being said, the manual is well written and comes with a complete parts list for reference. I do wish you could easily order the parts from their website so maybe that's something they will add in the future. I'd like to order a second, backup propane hose but it seems like I will have to call Westinghouse to get that done. It's light enough for me to easily lift into the back of my truck for our RV trips. Our current inverters of another brand, weigh in just over 100 lbs so the iGen4000Dfcv is a really nice change. I have electric start on my other inverters but I don't use it and now the batteries are dead. That is why I chose the pull start system. There also seems to be more issues (or potential issues) with the auto-choke systems so I avoided those units as well. It's easy enough to manually choke it when starting the unit. It would have been nice to have bluetooth on the unit so the running data could be monitored even with the inverter out of view. Westinghouse has a excellent reputation for quality and long life which is the reason I went with this unit and I do like the dual-fuel units since I can just run it off the propane I already have on the rig. So far, I'd highly recommend it for anyone needing a good, inverter generator for their RV.

Lost power and used to keep a refrigerator and small chest freezer. Worked great. Took to my trailer the next day and powered my trailer just fine! Love the lighter weight for transportation.

Bought this just for general pupose power supply away from the house and as a lower power (more effecient) back-up to my 6800 watt traditional gas generator. I've only run it on propane and am very happy. Remote start works perfectly and it idles nicely. I do wish it came with a magnetic dipstick for peace of mind but aftermarket options are available.

I bought this a few months ago and I’m very happy with the purchase. Easy to move around and store and very easy to use. I like having the option of electric and gas for emergency purposes.
