Dual fuel is nice but a bit hard to start on propane. Time will tell how well built it is

After the last power outage, I was looking for a good, lightweight, and quiet inverter generator. I had some experience with the single-fuel Yamaha SC2300i, but I wanted something similar that was dual-fuel. Additionally, the 2kW capacity of the Yamaha was a bit too low for my house, so I decided that 3.5kW would be a better fit.
Unfortunately, most generators on the market seem to force you to choose only two out of three features: lightweight, quiet, or dual-fuel. Just as I was about to give up on my search, I came across the iGen4000DFcv on a website and decided to give it a try.
The generator arrived within a week, and I had a chance to test it on both fuels shortly after. It starts easily, operates quietly, and is simple to move around thanks to its pull handle and two wheels. The iGen4000DFcv has almost everything I missed with the Yamaha: convenient LED lights, protected buttons, and socket covers.
When a new load is added, the generator adjusts smoothly without any noticeable light flickering, maintaining a stable power supply. For its price, I’d say this is probably one of the best inverter generators available.
Pros: - Dual-fuel inverter - Adequate number of sockets - Lightweight, quiet, and easy to move
Cons: - The propane hose doesn’t seem very durable, though the generator supports gas, which could help in case the hose breaks. - The oil funnel has an awkward pop design, which can lead to leftover oil dripping out.

Perfect size to maintain critical functions like furnace fan and refrigerator during power loss. Great price. Easy to use. Quietest inverter generator I could find if your power needs are not too large.

I bought this generator after a recent power outage. It was able to power many appliances including both refrigerators. It was exceptionally quiet compared to my neighbor's traditional generator. Very happy with the purchase.
