Just finished breaking it in and so far I'm happy with the inverter generator. It does seem louder than advertised - my decibel meter shows 77 with ECO turned off and no load. We plan to use it on our camping trips whenever we have to stop for the night while traveling.
Just bought this to take with us in our RV. Haven’t gone on our first trip with it yet, but at home trials revealed two things so far: with the 50amp to 30amp adaptor plugged into the generator, it only runs 1 air conditioner. We assumed this but weren’t sure. This generator can be run parallel so might buy the second one. The second item was the distance for the remote to work - about 44 feet.
I just purchased the iGen4000c after reading great reviews which state this is the quietest generator on the market. So far this appears to be true. I purchased this generator to use with my Bushwacker camper trailer and it can power everything including the air conditioner and microwave. I just used it with a power drill to drill holes in the trailer tongue to attach a motorized trailer dolly. While not providing as much power as a 110v household outlet, it provided plenty of power to the electric drill to successfully drill through the heavy guage steel tongue frame.
Great generator to run a medium sized off the grid camp! Set up was easy. I love the remote start, especially late at night to shut things down. It's my second Westinghouse generator and I am glad I purchased from them again
I have been using for a year now on my semi to power my fridge and heat and ac. I love it and works great. It will run everything for approximately 6 hrs on the 1.5 gallon tank. The remote start is wonderful and works great.
