Bought in preparation for hurricane season. Started up easily and is working properly. The unit is very easy to port around...the extendable handle and roll-around wheels are a definite plus. Very quiet compared to standard generators. LED display took a little bit of deciphering.
Bought this in March and just got past the break in period. It runs my Travel Trailer A/c, heater, tv and lights with less than 50% power. Remote start works good, and I’ve pull started it also. It is louder than i thought, but beside that its a great buy. Bought it for the duel fuel and remote ability. Its also light enough for me to handle solo.
Just received our new iGen4000c generator. Very easy to set up and add oil and gas. Only weighs about 60 lbs when empty. Runs quiet and will be great for boondocking.
Its a good generator, I've used a couple of times but I was hoping it would be on par with the quietness of another brand that starts with an H. Its honestly not that quiet and its advertised as being so. Also, I'm wondering if it was tested at the factory with ethanol based gas as the product was surging for at least an hour while my good gas likely cleaned out whatever was leftover. That being said, it started up easy and is fairly easy to move around.
ThIs is my first time buying a backup generator. The quick start instructions we complete. I tried the generator on both gasoline and propane and it seems to work fine. It is a lot quieter than generators I've heard running in the neighborhood during previous outages.
