Workhorse

Bought last year and we never really got a chance to use it much until last weekend's storm that hit western Washington. The unit has proven to be a workhorse operating on its 4th day. We have been able to use our oven, all kitchen appliances, kept 2 fridges and 2 freezers going, and portable electric heaters for comfort. We even got to watch a movie on Netflix on the weekend! So glad we decided to upgrade to a bigger unit with clean power so we don't have to worry about sensitive electronics.

Good backup power

Good backup generator during power outage. Clear and easy instructions to assemble. Ready to go after adding engine oil (included) and gas. Very capable to power-up essential house electricals and mechanicals.

THE BEST GENERATOR!

Purchased the generator March 2021. We've had several lengthy power outages and the 12000DF has powered the entire house, barn, and garage. The 12000DF is a reliable workhorse!

Runs Smooth, Lots of Power

Very well protected in shipping and in perfect condition. Using propane only. It fired up very smooth and quickly. In a test, it had no problem running 8 circuits on our panel, including central AC. Have not used in an emergency, luckily, but I feel comfortable it's going to run like a champ.

Generator not staring by remote or pulling string.

The problem was my carburetor I had to taken apart and completely clean it out. After doing this it started up on the very first push of the remote button. A few people that I know had the same issue. Each of us did getthe generator by taken apart and cleaning the carburetor completely out.

Powers my entire house

Item shipped quick, arrived just as described in excellent condition. Setup was simple with instructions and tools provided. Lift gate service was provided right to my door. I will certainly buy additional Westinghouse products in the future.
