I just purchased this unit and glad I did. One tip of advice. When assembling unit, hook up battery before putting wheels on. Much easier although it isn’t a big deal to put the wheels on and off

Leaking fuel

2nd time using the generator. I followed gasoline startup procedure, turned the fuel selector knob to allow for gasoline operation, fuel starts poring down into the engine and appears to be coming out in several places. Obviously I can’t use it now since it is a fire hazard. Very disappointed since it is only 2 months old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought the 12000DF for emergency/storm backup. Generator was delivered in great condition and was easy to assemble. With the wheels installed, moving the generator was easier than I expected. Start-up instructions where clear and the remote start feature will be very useful. Multiple outlets provide great flexibility.
