You should include in the star up instruction that you need to push in then turn it from off to on

Solid Unit

Just finished unboxing and set up. The packaging was surprisingly good, so used to getting things poorly packaged, not the case with this monster.
The generator is large. I've yet to run it, but if it runs as good as it looks and as well built as it appears to be externally, this will be the beginning of a forever relationship.
Cons...no cover included. The generator should come with a cover for a couple reasons, one it is an expensive unit. Buying this size of a machine should have included at least a basic cover which it did not. Second reason, it is so large, its been a challenge to find an aftermarket cover. Again for these reasons Westinghouse should have included.
If Westinghouse really wants to be a superstar, they would sell a "Tri-Fuel" add on kit. I wanted it from the start, but no units this large had it (that I found). That would really be the icing on the cake, support for Natural Gas.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Generator for the money

When I was looking for a powerful generator that could take care of our needs after a hurricane, I turned to our electrician who recommended the WG 9500DF. He was right. The 9500DF is easy to operate and delivers power big time. We couldn’t be happier with this product.

Fired up on propane with in 15 seconds of cranking

I bought this generator because it was still portable and had a big enough rating to run my whole house, it is duel fuel (gas or propane) and has a remote control to start it from inside the house I have not had an opportunity to try it out during a power outage yet , but I am sure it will be used shortly, winter has not left us yet
