Just purchased a Westinghouse WGen9500 generator. Took it out of the box put some items together added gas and oil. Started right up with remote start. Very happy with product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Generator starts and runs and shuts off randomly. After 15 min. , 22, 5, 45, minutes . Been with out power. Tried at 3 in n
the morning after let it cool down to see if there is a overheating but exactly same thing happened as I'm writing the review. My old general 8000 after being in storage for 3 yrs works perfectly fine in my neighborhood house after I let him borrow since I bought this new gen20000 generator.
Garbage. Good luck!!!! with the tech support.

I took delivery of the unit a week ago, and it already stopped running!

I have the baby brother WGen9500DF and loved it to provide power to my house but moved into a larger home and it was not quite large enough to handle the load. I decided to get this monster to do the job. I have yet to connect it to my house but love all of the features and some new ones my old generator didnt have. Power outages happen especially in Texas but I won't have a problem keeping the heat or AC on!

I started a p project with a smaller generator and it would not do the work I needed it to do. So I did my research and I’m glad I bought the Westinghouse WGEN 20000c. I got the project done I needed get done so we could go on vacation in style.

I have had the generator for one month. I ran it for 5 hours then changed the oil with full synthetic oil. The generator ran great! I hooked it up to my panel and it ran my house with no problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quality is lacking

50 amp socket would not accept plug until the plug was disassembled and hammered in one blade at a time (then reassembled). Then, on the 6th start, the starter fails to engage the flywheel resulting in much grinding noise and no engine start.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
