Quiet and Easy to Start

I tried this generator out just to familiarize myself with its operation. It took three pulls to start, probably because there was no gas in the system. Then, when it had started, I checked to be sure that the controls were in the right place because it was SO quiet. My wife and i could easily talk over it. I plugged in a circular saw to test (it was the closest electrical thing I had). It made a bit of noise, probably because the saw pulled 10 amps. I tried a couple of other much lower powered things and the generator either got only slightly louder or not at all. It is a much better product than I feared we would have to use. It's much better than any other generators I've encountered.

Great for Rv winter camping

I bought this generator, 2550, put oil in it that was provided then gas, which i provided. Pulled the cord twice and it started. That's a great start. Ran it for 3 hours and then started again the next day for 2 more hours. I'll change the oil tomorrow.

Quick Start, Super Quiet!

I just bought this tonight. Took it home, followed the easy to follow instructions, and it started right up. My husband is super pleased so far. I’m in hopes that it works this wonderful for years to come.

Just moved back to New Hampshire from North Carolina. I wanted to be ready for the cold weather and potential power outages. This will definitely do the trick. Also, will be great to have for 'camping'.

Compact Power, Great Unit

Purchased this several months ago. Unit is lightweight, well built and easy to use. Meets all my portable power needs. Purchased for "camping" use, have used for many other purposes, including running a circular saw at an unpowered barn, fans at a cookout, and powering a freezes during a power outage. Definitely glad I purchased the Westinghouse iGen 2550c!
