Portable and just the size I need

I have not had to use this generator yet but after our ice storm in January and without power for 2-1/2 days, I was determined NOT to be without a generator ever again! I did extensive research and this brand and model seemed to fulfill my needs. I just wanted a unit to power a portable heater, a table lamp and a crockpot to cook in and heat water for a bath in an emergency. Westinghouse is a very well known and trusted brand so I’m willing to bet it will perform nicely if/when needed.

Works as it should so far. Added oil and gas, two pulls on rope and started right up. Ran quiet and smooth. Only for stars because I have not had a chance to actually use it.

Quiet and fast

We our new campers and we brought a generator someone gave us and it did not work. We ran into friends who had the Westinghouse iGEN 2200 and they charged our trailer so fast and it went to full charge and it was so quiet . They said they’ve had theirs for five years with no problems.So we went right home and bought one for ourselves! We can’t wait to try it out on our next camping trip.

Great features

We purchased our generator after 15 hours with no power, 72 hours later it finally came back on. This generator met and exceeded our expectations. Loud to be sure but it powered much more than we thought capable. We took turns running our refrigerator, chest freezer and our air conditioner all night long. Charged 5 phones at once and my Keurig! Great choice for our family of 5

After some research I bought the Westinghouse igen2550c. What a well thought out piece of equipment. Runs great and is set up for easy storage. Really like the gas drain system.
