Built to be serviced and maintained

Well built little unit (Vietnam). I like the features - Fuel shut off to the carb when the control knob is in the off position. Easy to drain the fuel from the carb for long term storage thanks to the drain screw with attached drain hose. Easy to start - 1 or 2 pulls. This unit is designed to be tossed into the back of a truck without spilling gas during the way thanks to the vent shut off on the fuel cap. It's great both side doors can be removed without tools. The data center is perfect for giving you the necessary info so you are not overloading the unit.
I purchased this to power my gas furnace in an emergency. It's just big enough for that plus being a lightweight generator means I can carry it by myself - bonus! I'm sure I will find other uses for it.

Excellent value and great product

Purchases this generator in February of 2026 after adding the oil that came with it and gassing it up I followed the instructions and it started and run on the 3rd pull. The starter rope is very easy to pull allowing most anyone to easily start it. I was shocked at how quit this machine runs. I checked the power output with my meter and it was showing a steady 125 volts under no load .I am very well pleased with this purchase.

Feature Rich and quiet!

I just picked up my iGEN2550C last week and so far I'm completely impressed! At 42 lbs, this should be no problem taking along between my primary and secondary residence. It is unbelievably quiet as well. I've heard many conventional generators in the past that are deafening. But at low 50's db, I can actually have a conversation only a few feet away. Not that I'm looking forward to a power outage anytime soon, but when it happens I know I'm going to feel very reassured that my critical power needs are covered. Lastly, one of my favorite features is the LED information center that gives me visual info on power output, fuel level, running hours, and voltage. I've never seen another generator at this price point that has this feature.
