Quiet, compact, affordable, starts easily

Following the quick-start instructions it started on first pull. Very quiet, especially at low load. Powers our 8000BTU window air conditioner, and 700W microwave easily. At under 50 lbs, and with a good handle it's fairly easy to lug around for me. Great for powering our travel trailer when boondocking without annoying the neighbors.

Works great and is actually pretty quiet. When under a full load it gets loud but hey.. It's a generator lol the first one I received the cord got stuck out and would not go in after the 2nd pull but they sent me a replacement instantly so great customer service!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Followed directions and fired right up after adding oil and gas. Meter shows 124volts and is true per my fluke meter;

I live off grid in Michigan and use my igen everyday. It's easy to start and usually fires up on one pull. I built a small enclosed wood housing for it to keep the rain and dirt off which reduces the noise even more. Although without it, you could comfortably have a conversation right next to it without having to yell. The best part about this generator is the fuel efficiency! Must have for anyone traveling or living off grid like my family.

Did extensive research on small portable generators. The iGen 2500 stood out as a very reliable model which should take care of my needs during a power outage. The generator appears to be well built, compact and light weight. The unit started on the second pull and is everything I expected. I look forward to using it the next time we loose power.
