Having shopped for a smaller inverter generator for some time I decided on the iGen2550DFc and very satisfied with my decision. I ticks all the boxes I was looking for in a small job site and camping generator. It starts easily, handles all the loads I was needing and is portable enough to carry where needed. Overall Very Pleased !

High Altitude Kit still not available

Purchased WESTINGHOUSE2,550 Watt Dual Fuel Gas and Propane Powered Portable Inverter Generator a year ago. Starts easy. Runs quiet. I only run on propane.
I sometimes camp above 8000 feet. Purchased this item with the intent of purchasing the High Altitude Kit at a later date.
High Altitude Kit not available.....that is a disappointment.

I purchased this Inverter Generator and I am very pleased with it. Its design is very sleek and easy to use. I used it to connect my Computer, printer, and router, and it ran perfectly. This inverter is phenomenal!!!!

I did the 5 hour break in with variable loads under 50% and changed the oil which was silvery dirty, so do that. Starting with propane says push the button 3 times on the regulator, choke, pull till firm and pull to start then turn off choke, pull till firm and pull to start. Repeat process till starts. This helps!!! usually on the 2nd pull it will start instead of just pulling and pulling. Having a full tank of propane works best too. Thinking of installing a soft start on my rv air conditioner but bought this mostly as a portable propane inverter clean power generator to charge my 2 solar generators that won’t charge with my old non sine-wave generator.
