I bought this because it was light weight and versatile. I needed a generator I could take to the field and run small electrical equipment such as side grinders.

Received iGen2550DFc yesterday. Well packaged and everything in good order. Started on propane and gasoline without difficulty. Runs smoothly under load. But, this is a replacement unit, the first I purchased was an iGen2550c that would not start. Calling the help number twice did not get me any help. I was advised that a response would take 24 to 48 hours, so back to the seller it went. If the first unit had worked i would have given 5 stars. Only feature I would like to see is a gasoline shut off valve so i can run the carburetor dry before moving or storing. An hour meter would be handy to know when maintenance is due.

I recently purchased the Westinghouse iGen2550 inverter generator and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. From the moment I unboxed it, the quality and attention to detail were evident. Setting it up was a breeze, and the instructions were incredibly straightforward.
The iGen2550 runs extremely quietly, which is a big plus for me as I often use it in residential areas. I was impressed by its fuel efficiency and long run-time; it’s clearly designed for convenience and sustainability. The built-in USB ports and multiple outlets also make it incredibly versatile for all my powering needs.
I’ve had to use it during several power outages already, and it has performed flawlessly each time, giving me peace of mind. I would highly recommend the Westinghouse iGen2550 to anyone in need of a reliable, efficient, and quiet power source. It’s truly a game-changer!”
Feel free to use or modify this review as you see fit.
