SO FAR SO GOOD

I recently bought the i Gen2550 after extensive research and reading many reviews. I am pleased so far with my purchase. After adding oil and fuel, it started right up on the third pull. And I am extremely impressed with the noise level, extremely quiet for a gas powered engine. I definitely feel comfortable having this unit as a standby for power outages.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Innovative Engineering and High Performance

The iGen2550DFc is quite possibly the perfect combination of innovative engineering and high performance in an inverter generator. The fact that it's many features are packaged in such a compact form factor is really impressive. We use this to power lighting and accessories in a marine application. But the flexibility of dual fuel source (gasoline and propane) pretty much guarantees the unit can handle just about any situation.

Worked a couple times

We had this generator for just over a month now. We used it a couple times to power a few things (Tv, DVD player and a led light) at camp a couple weekends. I was hoping this would be a great upgrade for our older Kawasaki, my uncle has a much bigger Westinghouse at his camp that has not let him down. To our disappointment, the generator started having problems like starting when it wants and when it does start, it runs for 15-20 minutes and shuts down all of a sudden. I'm going to start the process of getting in touch with the company in hopes they can help get something figured out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this iGen2550c Generator not knowing what to expect because of other brands in the past but after getting home and starting it up We knew we made the "RIGHT DECISION" this darn thing is so quiet you can literally be standing over the top of it having a normal conversation with yelling it's Amazing. The Power it puts out is more than enough for what we need. We found the right fit to are needs. "THANKS AGINE WESTINGHOUSE WELL BE BACK"
