What a great product so far. Easy to get set up and running. I love the dual fuel and using the clean propane bottles. Easy to start and the remote start is fantastic!

Powerful and Quite!

I bought this generator to run lights on a parade float, it worked prefect! Ran quietly more than enough power and used little fuel. So happy we made this purchase , it'll be used for many events and what a great piece of mind to know we have it for a power outage.

And my family wanted power BAD. This little guy powered the Fridge, Freezer, and--of course--Internet routers... Have not had a chance to use again since buying. (Outage insurance?)

Small but Powerful

The machine runs as expected. I was surprised at how light the generator was. I’m selling my full size generator. I may just buy a second Gen2550 to pair with this one for unexpected power outages at home.

Solid performer at an amazing price

I have owned 2 honda inverter generators which generally worked well and ran quietly but the price was insanely high and in the end I decided to try an alternative and liked the look and specs of the Westinghouse products so I initially ordered the iGen2200 for my race car track use and found it in many ways nicer than the much more expensive Honda genset, although it was a bit louder. I ended up needing another genset so bought the iGen2550c and again it works very well and is quiet enough for my needs. Pro tip: whether you purchase a Honda or Westinghouse genset, you need to rotate the choke to the setting that produces the smoothest engine note - this is where the air/fuel ratio is optimized. Leaving the genset choke at the the indentation position for 'warm' running is not always the ideal position and may result in surging or less efficient fuel consumption - if you are using stale gas you will need to move the choke closer to the 'cold start' position.
