After reviewing several generators I bought this model that was on sale. It has several features that are usable when camping. I will primarily use it with the propane mode although it is nice to know it also uses gasoline. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it is. In addition, this will be used in case of power failures at home. Very happy with purchase.

I researched my needs for quite a while and kept going back to the iGen 2550. Its lightweight but runs my 5000 BTU air conditioner, battery charger and fridge in my camper with ease! It was only 90 degrees today but kept camper at 65 inside and never wavered. ran it on regular and eco mode with no problems for 6 hours! Couldnt be happier with the purchase!,

Great generator. Add oil, gas and one pull started right away. Very quiet and a nice backup if needed.

We bought this for backup power in case of a power outage. Luckily we haven't had to use it but I did start it up and went through it's features.
I found it to be very well built, compact and easy to use. The directions were easy to follow and the display was easy to understand using the directions.
Excellent product for the price.

I purchased the Westinghouse iGen2550c roughly a month ago and it has worked seamlessly. Easy start-up, reasonably quiet, light enough that I can carry it without much effort. I've already recommended it !
