More confident with coming seasons

Arrived in the last couple days. Going into the box the way the material is laid out with information naturally guides you to it's first use. First rate product thoughtfully mixed with it's information. I feel like I'm looking forward to the storm. So quiet you can talk over it.

quick start- single pull

Great generator for my 23-foot travel trailer. Starts easily and runs quietly. Very light weight. quality construction. I ran it through the break-in period changing the oil several times. The process of draining and refilling the oil is easy to do. This is a good choice and good value for my travel trailer needs. I strongly recommend this generator.

Works great for our power outages with all the storms we get! We were able to plug in our fridge and all our electronics. Delivery was very fast and they were gentle dropping it off. For sure 10/10 glad we picked this one!

Never worked properly

I previously wrote a positive review so that I could get the cover. We have only been able to get this thing actually going 1 time and only with gasoline. Its reasonably quiet and I thought it would work out great but I was wrong.
1- we specifically bought this model for its duel fuel capabilities. We planned on primarily using it with propane. When we tried to test at home it wouldn't work. It appeared the regular was faulty. We called westinhouse and they agreed to send us a "new" regulator. We had a camping trip coming up and thought ok we'll just use gas. Went and got gas. Tested it. Worked.
2- 2 days later we are boondocking and go to fire it up because it's 95 degrees outside and we wanted to run our small campers AC. Wouldn't start. After multiple tries it finally sounds like it's going to turn on but on the last pull the handle completely separated from the string! So now it's useless.
We cut out camping trip short and drove 4 hours home early.
Westinhouse agreed to send us a new cord kit.
3- we received the regular and cord kit in the mail. He regular was clearly used. Which isn't a huge deal, but it's annoying to be putting used parts on a brand new product. The cord kit was broken!! The cord was cut so that was again useless. They sent us out another and ita intact but it's not a straightforward fix. I'm not a mechanic I shouldn't have to take apart a brand new machine.
I'm extremely disappointed that we spent so much money on a product that we have never actually been able to use.

iGen2550DFc Portable Dual-Fuel Inverter Generator

Initially I purchased a larger Inverter Generator (130+ lbs), but quickly realized that I would be better served by having 2 smaller, portable units for my RV usage (43 lbs). Reasonable noise level. Also very helpful for home usage during power outages. Quite versatile and convenient. Can be carried back on my property to run equipment away from the house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Compact and Quiet

We do a lot of camping and needed a quiet generator that can run our refrigerator and a/c. This unit is light weight and quiet. It also has a 30 amp. outlet that we can plug the rv into. It has great features like a readout for run time, fuel level, output, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!
