Got me though Hurricane Irma in style!

I live in South Florida, and we were just slammed by Hurricane Irma. Five full days off the grid, but not in the dark. I ran my Westinghouse 2000iXLT the entire time, stopping only to refuel. I was able to run my side-by-side refrigerator, several small fans, some LED lights, and a 5,000BTU window A/C. (And my cell phone charger of course) The 2000iXLT produced ample power, started easily both when hot and when cold, and my next door neighbor commented that it was the quietest generator she's ever heard. To me, this is the best generator I've ever owned. It provides just the right amount of power to get through a storm, while not requiring too large a gasoline stockpile. I'm an older person, and the fact that this generator weighs less than 50LBS is a big plus for me, as is the easy pull starting. I've owned several generators over the years, but if I could have only one, it would be this one. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat if I had to do it over again.
I just got this generator. I put the oil and gas in and a few pulls later, it had started. And it is QUIET! I don't have anything to compare it to since I don't have any other generators, but this thing is amazing! FAR quieter than my relatively quiet lawn mower. I let it run for a few minutes and it ran very smoothly. On ECO mode, it's even quieter.
I gave it a 5 star for now, I just got it, gassed and oiled it up and it started on the first easy pull. I ran a few tools with it an was pleased with how quite it is. I got it for power outages up here in NW Montana to run a computer and tv. I don't know when I'll get to give it a good workout, now that I got it we probably won't have anymore outages. I'll update this review when I can.
